Improv On the Set

To get the shot of Alvin stealing the bag of garbage out of Jaime's hands, Actor Chris Moss had to lean half way out the window of this moving vehicle, while actress Bryn Lucas trustingly stood with her back to them as the car approached down the alley behind her.

The Director

The two worked closely together shooting the pilot for Trash, the new TV show, set on location in Los Angeles.

Shooting outdoors in Los Angeles poses many challenges, not the least of them the many helicopters that disturbed the sound on a regular basis.

But that's the beauty of shooting on location. Since the movie is set in the world of Hollywood paparazzi the guerilla-like feel of the production and the local sound effects helped give the production a gritty, authentic feel.
